    What is Congenital Trismus?

    Congenital: a condition existing at birth.

    Trismus:  limited mouth opening of any cause.

    Wyatt was diagnosed with Brainstem Dysgenesis in October 2015.  We keep his website active for parents out there who may find themselves in the same situation as we were: lost, with no diagnosis.  Please refer to the PubMed document Congenital Trismus From Brainstem Dysgenesis: Case Report and Review of Literature for further details.
